3... 2... 1...

Kallie has a new friend named Analise as I'm watching her for three weeks (her mom goes to school with Brian) and she is a great playmate.
She's 3...
and Kallie and her actually play together and talk about what they are going to do together.
They actually plan their play and conspire (as much as little people can) against me.
They both decide they want something and then (of course) I can't say no.
Smart kids, 2...
cute faces is always better than 1...
Does this make my mom enforcement level 0... ?

To Dallas

And we got to go see Lindsay, Jack, and Jeremy just before baby Hazel was born. Kallie was super excited about it all and didn't take a nap for 2 days... crazy. Thanks for having us and letting us make a mess of all your nesting work Lindsay!

DC Christmas

Our Washington, DC Christmas Vacation - the abridged version:
So we went to the Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum...
Playing "tickle, tickle" with Uncle David (they seriously had a little game going with this one) And check out the super cute huge bow her Aunt Mary made and gave her!
We went to the Smithsonian Natural Science Museum...

Yes, Brian held the freaky bug (the *nice* man pointed out to be that it was an insect... I was talking to a 2 year old!!!!!

Kallie in the exhibit... it was a perfect fit! And what a way to keep the little ones under control at a museum!

The girls got our nails done, yes even Kallie...

Kallie behaved like an angel for this - she really liked having "pretty fingernails!"

It snowed 2 feet in a day and we had to get out there and do the snow removal ourselves with one little shovel... go figure. But it was beautiful and Kallie needs all the exposure to snow she can get.
Snowman Family built by Brian and Aunt Mary (yes I was a cold whimp!)

Me out shoveling snow and Brian wanting a pic of it

Kallie buried in animals, obviously!

Kallie out in the snow, she didn't mind it one bit.

My mom got a new sewing machine and it didn't stop running the entire time we were there. Awesome!

Kallie helping Grandma sew. She was ecstatic!

Grandpa Time

Kallie and Grandpa Casebolt watching football together! She NEEDS her football!

It's time for a little blog catch up... seriously! I haven't posted in over a month - that's how busy it's been. First off, my dad planned a trip (very deviously) to come down right after my mom had and make sure that he was the "grandparent-du-jour" going into the Christmas vacation with them. He's very very sneaky. He was very helpful on the flight back - he booked the seat right behind us!

On the Train Again

Kallie was just thrilled to go to the zoo today with her second cousins and ride the train. She pretty much yelled "choo choo" the whole way around the track. Even Baby Dennis enjoyed the ride!

Happy Face Breakfast

So my blog is all about food now... lol. I just thought I would show you Kallie's very special breakfast. This is what we get when we ask for a smile too... just a huge open mouth every time. And her right eye? Well, even though it looks like a black eye, it's just from a bug bite... scary, horrible, awful mosquitos.

Premature Christmas Gingerbread Cookies

So they just looked so good in the picture that I couldn't help but make some even if we haven't passed the thanksgiving landmark yet. Besides, all the stores have decorated for Christmas already so it's on the brainl. I would definitely recommend this activity as we had a blast making a mess (good thing I'm not a nut job clean freak!) and eating them. Here's a pic of Kallie in the middle of saying "cookie" - if you want some, come and get 'em!
